This commercial filmed in San Francisco was of the 1973 Plymouth Fury, specifically, this model was the Grand Coupe. A beautiful but very large car. It was the last Full Sized C Body Plymouth designed and built until 1977. Now what I find very very odd about this commercial is that they used Stock Footage that had been previously used in other Plymouth Car Commercials. The point where the hoses are shooting water (13 seconds) on the engine is actually the shot of a 1972 Plymouth Sebring Commercial featuring Arthur Godfrey. And the Engines and Engine Tester shots (10 second mark) are also from a 1973 Plymouth Fury Commercial. They definitely saved money on this ad by using old film. (check out this)
