Filmed in a very crowded shed, stands this shiny like new Oldsmobile. New bodyshells and styling are the biggest change since their 1948 - 49 redesign. This new styling arrived on 1954's new B and C bodies bearing squared up below the belt sheetmetal, fully wrapped windshields, wrapped back windows, and distinctive L- shape bodyside moldings that delineated contrast color schemes on some two-toned models. This was perhaps the most attractive 50's Olds, and it's basic look would persist through 1956. The 54 Oldsmobile lineup once again started with the 88, then the Super 88 and the top 98. Oldsmobile's came in two and four door sedans, a Holiday hardtop coupe, convertible coupe, Deluxe Holiday hardtop coupe, and Starfire convertible coupe. A more powerful Rocket V8 engine lies under the hood with 324.3 cubic displacement providing 170 horsepower. Here are eight color choices that were available and include : Turquoise Metallic, Capri Blue, Juneau Gray, Maise Cream, Desert Tan, Glacier Green, Copper Metallic, Polar White, and Willow Green. This Oldsmobile is finished in Polar White over Glacier Green. The appeal of this Oldsmobile among it's new styling is the repaint in factory colors, and a nice remake of the interior. And, before you might ask, is this for sale ? No. Someone fell in love with this Oldsmobile and is now the lucky owner. Thanks for viewing.
