Today, we take a trip back almost 20 years ago, when Chrysler was deep in the Badge Engineering game with their entire corporate lineup. All of their cars and vans were pretty much the same car, with the exception of division-specific exterior/interior details. The "Cloud Cars", as they became known, due to the naming, were actually very popular among new car buyers, due to the excellent leasing structure around them. The Plymouth Breeze was the low-level version of the car, with the Dodge Stratus being the more sporty, and generally better-equipped version of the Breeze. The Cirrus was the top-of-the-line trim, and as a result, was more expensive than the latter two.
2000 would be the last year of the cars, as they would be extensively re-designed. The Breeze disappeared with the Plymouth brand becoming defunct, Stratus would remain with the Dodge car, and the Cirrus became the Sebring Sedan.
Here, we are taking a detailed in-depth walk-around look at the interior and exterior of this 2000 Chrysler Cirrus LXi
