Hey Swedespeed guys and gals,
I've been working hard on the car but haven't taken the time to post so I thought I would show you what I was up to. I finished bolting up all of the front cross member. It took a bit of time but came out looking great.
I also assembled the rear axle. Again on the kitchen floor! A big thanks to my wife for putting up with my car needs.
Here's another cool part that came in the mail. It's my rally cap straight from England. It's 100% aluminum... so it's light and won't rust! The reason I'm going this route is because I no longer have a gas cap on the side of the car. Pretty trick.

Hey you guys,
I know I haven't posted for a long time and I feel guilty. It isn't because I stopped work on the car. I have spending my time block sanding instead of blogging! I'm going with a gloss black paint job and I need the ol' car to be laser straight. I have about 5 layers of Bondo in some areas. I know what you're thinking....that's too much Bondo! Before you jump to conclusions, it's super thin. I've sanded off 90% of everything put on. I had a ton of highs and lows and am taking my time on this part. The sexiest thing about the car has to be the lines. I want them looking great before the next step of laying down color. Any advice from people whom have done this let me know. I know George Dill will have some advice! Also, I'm using a super long Dura Block so I don't get waves! Pics of dust to coming soon!
