The car now has a radiator so I can leave it running, the turbo is not attached but the maf is connected to the intake. All air leaks blocked and running nicely

Well I tried, packing the car away after working on it, tried to drive it into the garage. The clutch is spongy and I couldn’t engage gears, brakes weren’t much better. The only way to stop moving was turn off ignition

Yes it did, 0 -100 mph without moving an inch. Brakes and clutch bled and filled with nice new dot 4 fluid. All other stuff flushed out. Sounds sweet, turbo pipes coming later this week. Also handbrake works :)

So tonight I finished off the handbrake and it rocks. Fully adjustable and a clone between the Audi system (rear hubs and handbrake cables and the spitfire lever). I’ll clean it all up at the weekend and make it look nice.
I also bled the brakes and clutch, the stuff that came out was a horrible milky colour! It wasn’t like that when it went in 2 weeks ago. Anyway flushed it out and filled with dot 4.
I then went for a drive, at one point hitting just under 100 mph. There is no noise from the drive train, it sounds so sweet. Checkout the video ?

I get the induction pipes later on this week so I can then plumb in the turbo.

It's good to see someone modifying a triumph - the time put into sorting the panel gaps has paid off!

What a transformation! If Triumph were making cars today I could see them building something like this.

You really are an artist with the welder. Looks like a modern version of a classic design. Well done!
