After priming the turbo, reflashing my interrim map, my car PUKED oil all over the asphalt. It's coming from the oil feed line, block side. I've found a lot of discussions about the SS lines leaking. I'll be pulling it apart again tomorrow .

Let's pick this up where we left off, shall we?

Here I am dremeling the turbo flange thanks to Grimmspeed's initial screwup (Andrew, if you ever make your way in here this was a hell of a lot easier than doing this while the turbo was in the car!!):

Freshly elongated:

The turbo pops right in!

Coolant drain tube and oil drain tube connected:

Oil feed line connected to the Turbo:

Downpipe connected and bolted:

Turbo heat shield and intercooler bracket reinstalled:

Intercooler reinstalled:

BTW, here is how I piped my driver side cylinder head vent (my favorite clear plastic tubing!):

Everything is finally back together!

Time to reflash my interim map and prime the turbo (pull the number 11 fuse):

DONE!

... or so I thought...

That's the lifeblood of my car all over the ground. It's coming from the oil feed line:

The next day, I pulled the oil feed line off (this can be done with the turbo on the car, FYI, you just need to remove the UP bracket):

And here was a novice mistake. I had assumed that the part that connected to the banjo bolt on the SS feed line was a swivel head connector. In fact, it's an A/N pressure fitting.

The fact that it swiveled at all meant it was loosey goosey. After tightening the line and reinstalling everything:

The car runs great (well as far as my interim map goes).

FWIW, Ron (Donkey) sent me a modified stock BPV (on the right):

Should be good for boost over 20 PSI!
