HRmmm.... Added DCCDPro to the first page.  Installed it today.

one day in... the dccdpro is cool, but... I'm not sure I quite understand it's technical wizardry, and how to apply it to my driving. For now, I'm just leaving it full open on auto. Even one knotch in from full open clunks the rear end when I turn... which I'm surprised about. Is it that way with anyone's STi? (Matt... chime in here dudeski )

engine. Blown. FML

Will do. I was having -3.5 FKLC at high RPMs. I emailed the tuner and he said "it looks like false knock to me. Here's a new map with a less sensitive knock sensor."

Needless to say, I'm not very happy with my tuner right now.

I will be building the engine myself, and I will be tuning myself. I'm to the point where I don't trust anyone to work on my car.

I took EFI101, so I've got the basics down. There will be a ton of exploring and learning though. I appreciate the offer for assistance.

I'm sending it in for a compression/leakdown test friday.

Filled up 2.5qts of oil to make it to the full line. That's how much I lost while it was smoking and I was trying to drive it to a safe place to pull out.

Tomorrow... compression test! We shall see if it was the engine or the valvetrain, or the turbo!

#4 piston is blown. We'll see about valves once the block is pulled apart.
