Shift Boot Install
1. Pull up bottom of boot off lip, it is elastic.
2. Remove your shift knob; the knob is just pressed on.
Wrap the plastic collar under the knob in tape and use a towel and 24mm wrench to yank the knob off. Be careful it will come off in one good pull sometimes and being somewhat forceful can cause the knob to go flying.
Once removed, you can pry the boot out of the collar for the reverse trigger. Installing the new boot is identical to stock, fold in the tabs of the new leather boot and slip it into the knurling around the reverse trigger stalk like the OEM boot.
Install the reverse trigger stalk back onto the knob, it will click in. Use the palm of your hand and tap the knob back onto the shifter. Fit the elastic bottom of the boot around the trim and you are done.

19. Slip the console back into place and work boot over the ebrake, leave about 2mm of leather over the end and slide the end cap back in to make a nice seamless finish
20. Install everything in reverse order.
