Working on cleaning up the engine while we're waiting for the cage. We're also working on the wire harness.

I know you've seen lots of cage pics but this is my car .
I wanted a safe cage that blended form and function. I wanted a Cup Car look but I also wanted to tie into the front and rear shock towers for stiffness. Also important was easy access to the engine compartment. I added a Petty bar too but made it removeable for maintenance.

I've known Tarett since my 944spec days and my BSR was used to prototype some of their Boxster parts. I'll be using a lot of awesome Tarett parts on my car and they will be using my Cayman for future prototyping and testing. This is the list so far:
1) Front Bladed Swaybar and Tarett’s extended drop links.
2) Rear Bladed Swaybar which is configurable for in car adjustability.
3) In Car Blade Controller for controlling the rear blade orientation (stiffness) on the fly, from inside the car.
4) Front & Rear Monoball Upper Mounts. The front plates are configurable for 1.1 deg more negative camber.
5) GT3 Control Arms with Solid Bushings. These are factory control arms that include Tarett’s solid thrust arm bushings and Monoball inboard ends to eliminate the factory rubber. This is a major safety item for me and I think Tarett’s got the best solution.
6) Rear Spring Adaptor. These adaptors distribute the spring load directly to the bottom of the upper shock mount minimizing wear.
7) Bump Steer Toe Link & Locking Plate Kit. This kit is a must because I’m going to run this car as low as I can. The lower the car is, the more effective and helpful the bump steer design is. I may raise the pick up points to run the car even lower in the future.
8) BumpSteer Tie Rod. This has the same bump steer functionality as the bump steer toe links, but for the front.
9) Shifter Riser Spacer Kit to raise the shifter by 2.5”. This puts it nice and close to the steering wheel.
10) Tension/Compression Links to help control squat and dive during acceleration and deceleration. They are also adjustable in length, so I can adjust caster and wheel base.
11) Semi-Solid Engine & Trans Mounts. I didn’t want to go with solid mounts because they rattle and loosen the fasteners.
