Broke every stud on the gas tank for the fuel sending unit, even after letting them soak with penetrating oil for weeks. After further inspection, I decided to ditch the stock tank and go with a nicer unit instead of repairing the tank.
Old one gone. So much room for activities under there now. Good time to undercoat where I couldn't before.
Old fuel filler replaced with a new one.
Looking forward to getting the cars back on the road after the nice mid winter weather we had yesterday. Ignore the scuff marks on the rear bumper, we haven't finished wet sanding the car yet.

New tires for my 15x7 slipstreams showed up. M&H Street/Strip 235/60-15's.

Got a 10 gallon JMF fuel cell. My stock tank was beyond repair. Test fitted last night.
This one doesn't stick out like their older model's. If you stand up behind the car you can't see it.
I need to pull it off so I can undercoat the chassis above the cell and reinstall permanently. I am using a stock sender with two 255's and leaving the sumped fitting capped. Maybe down the road the car will see an external pump.
