little bit of an update here.
in the photo you can see a gap between the inner wing and the inner a panel.
we couldnt get this to close up properly with screws.
so what we have done is drilled 4 or 5 5mm holes through both panels and
run some bolts through the inner a panel and inner wing
we also tack welded the nuts in place so when we have finished welding everywhere else we can wind the
bolts out and plug weld them through.
the front end is starting to come together nicley at the moment
we are just taking it very slow and not rushing in to welding anything into place at the moment
until we are absolutley dead sure that its all in the right place and the door gaps are as we want them!
thats it for tonight hopefully a bit more tomorrow.

Right as promised I have a little bit of an update! Started off this weekend by making a repair piece to neatley repair this section:
We had bought some steel angle from the bristol miniday, which was 20mm by about 50mm. with one bend already on we had to set about puting one more in.
once the piece had been trimmed to length, this was the product.
For now we are not going to weld this in untill we have got the more important thingsfinished. Next we looked at repairing the corners of the bottom half of the bulkhead where it meetsthe toe board on both sides. Also we fully welded the bulkhead to the toe board.
Next we finished welding the passnger side inner wing to the bulkhead.
After this we finished welding the scuttle repair on the drivers side.
Thats it for the pickup. Whilst i was out driving today I came across a disabled guy who had used a 1275 mini engine and front subframe to make a trike.
Thought this was pretty cool!
