Update,

Made a list of everything I need to do to finish of the drivers side, looks like it could possibly take a weekend or two then it's on to the rear end which looks like it needs a small patch underneath the petrol tank, a new valence, and new valence closing plates as unsurprisingly it's been bodged !

Also I went outside for an hour or so before work today to do a bit or priming and mock up the panels that will be going in this weekend -

I also mocked up the rear floor pan, sill stiffener, and the companion bin but didn't take any pictures of that. Only mocked it up for a bit of a feel good really, need to hurry up and drive a Mini again, I'm having withdrawal symptoms
