quick update, the machining on my block and head is finished and i'm picking them up tomorrow so hopefully i'll get some pics up before Xmas

a new set of cam followers came yesterday (forgot to take pics) they are to be fitted on my shiny new engine.

the work on my block and head has been finished for a while but the guy doing the work is just waiting for my new 998 +40 thou pistons and mains to arrive, they should have been there Wednesday but they are now arriving to day hopefully.

i am painting my block and head using hammerite smooth gold (yes that's right a GOLD engine)

hopefully me and my dad will get the engine painted and rebuilt by Christmas Eve and then i'll get some pics up to.
