Well as promised here is today's update.
First of we demasked the car and there is no other word for it ! The roof if just porn -




Then we masked her up ready for spraying the drivers side and the rear -

And then there was nothing for it but to start painting and it looks smashing -

Then i made a little mistake with the lacquer on the A Panel, This will be flatted back and re done tomorrow -

That's todays work done, The forecast looks good again for tomorrow so i should have all the spraying finished by then
That means ill get to demask the car and pull it out into the light. Very excited

Well as promised here is today's work and the finished paint

Started by masking up -

And then began painting -

Several hours later i demasked it and pulled it outside.
I am over the moon with the finish. I would've been happy if i had of payed someone to get these results.















I just cant stop smiling.
The finish is by no means perfect as i did get a run on the front valence -

This doesn't really bother me though as it looks worse in the photo.

I can now finally get on with other jobs such as electrics interior etc whilst the paint fully hardens.
After its fully hardened i will be giving it a full Mop and Polish

Made some good progress today.

Got the lights back on -

And hey presto they worked straight away without any problems -

Got the new fuel filler cap fitted -

Boot and fog light fitted -

And fitted the weird foam bit on the scuttle -

Thats it for today.
We will be cracking on with more tomorrow
( It feels so good to finally be putting bits on )
