Well i have been getting very annoyed with the weather having not being able to work on the car at all.
I then had a great idea, I remembered we had an old tent in the Attic that the Mini might fit in.
And what do you know -
First we put the frame up -
And then the cover on -
I wish i had thought of it months ago, Its just like having another garage -
Got my work bench tidied up with just body work things -
I bought some blue piping for the engine bay, I think it looks good -
I managed to sort out the rust i found.
First we cut the rust out -
Tacked ( To avoid heat distortion ) a new patch in -
Then ground down -
Seam sealed -
Then filled -
This panel is now ready for topper which i will do tomorrow -
Got the A Panel in its layer of topper -
The two corners of the roof are almost ready for topper -
Also put some silent coat on the parcel shelf -
And gave the wheels a polish to keep them in good condition and protected -
That's pretty much it for this update people, but now i have the tent up i can work on the car come rain or shine so there will be updates most nights.
I will also be putting strip lights in the tent which will enable me to work after dark.

Right i.m sorry there haven't been any updates in a while but its been all boring filler work.
Anyway i have some excellent news.
I got the Mini featured in this months Mini Magazine which im delighted about -
The Mini is now very near going up to the paint shop ( Where i work ) with the back end pretty much ready -
The Roof is also finished -
I'm happy i went with the decision to remove the bumper because i think it looks great -
Also got the replacement gutter piece tacked in -
I saw on Graham's thread that he had seam sealed the whole of him gutter so i also did this -
Masked up
And then seam sealed -
Hopefully there will be another update in the coming days with the front end looking the same
Great Mini build!
