Today I figured maybe a few hours and it'd be drivable. Well after 11 hours today it is! well minus sidelights.
Driveshafts were renewed with new gators.
All new engine steadies.
Engine, radiator, and heater fully flushed and all new coolant.
filled with oil, and so far leak free.
New heater take off, with a new cable.
New cross brake pipe, and new fluid.
Another million things I've probably forgotten.
Oh and 2 new headlights! as the O/S (the side that didn't get hit) was cracked into 4 pieces!

So today was an interesting one. The car had to be ready, and not just ready but for a 150 mile trip!
I figured a few hours tarting her up and I'd be good to go.
I was a little off, the rear brakes decided to start binding. Traced to the shoes moving on the backplate, probably cause by the crash.
Swapped my wheels back on, as well as all my little touches. As the phase goes, you can't polish a turd, but you can roll it in sprinkles!
I didn't have any green paint left, so it's camo primer time!
I went into my spares collection and picked out a nice grill, decided on the early GT grill for a change.
Fitted sidelights the correct way round, as mine had been put on the wrong side!
Then quite a few little niggles sorted and I was good to go!
Got about half a mile from home, pulled over to check everything, and realised I was missing something.
I then returned home before I was pulled by every cop who saw me.
Looks damn cool without a plate though.
So after only a half mile test, managed to drive 130 miles without fault!
Arrived safely at my destination.
Only complaint is she's a bit twitchy, I think my tracking was knocked out....
Oh and my new heater valve leaks! Pissed anti-freeze down my beautifully painted engine, bugger.
