Small update, sanded down primer on wheels, and ready for paint and clear. Also replaced a radiator on a VW....

This is what happens when a fan clutch blows up...

And this is what happens when that clutch belongs to a VW...

Well, decided to officially paint the wheels and clearcoat them, so here are the pics!

First did the inside, but didn't clear them...

After a few coats of paint....

Then clearcoated!

I did 3 coats of self-etching primer, sanded that down with 400 grit, then for the inside of the wheel, just 3 coats of paint, then for the outside I did 3-4 coats of paint and 4-5 coats of clear. They look pretty good!
