Here is the axle today. I also got my Ruff Stuff axle swap kit.
Bought Evaporust and started treating the rusty Bronco parts.

I'm thinking about taking the axle housing as is and mocking it up under the Jeep to tack the perches.
Is there any reason I can't do this? It would make adjusting the axle and moving it a lot easier.
Also, here are some pics of the parts I put in evaporust. You can tell where some parts weren't submerged but it works well.

Thanks for the info guys. It’s a great start for my research.
Some updates. I started checking my Ruff Stuff axle swap kit and noticed I only got one spring perch. I emailed Ruff Stuff and found the kit I bought was for a D44 with a cast in spring perch and larger u-bolt. It was in the kit description but I overlooked it. The funny thing is, the rear D44 swap kit has all the correct parts for my swap and is the same price. I called Ruff Stuff and they agreed to give me the perch and discounted the u-bolt and I just pay for shipping. $25 later I’m getting the right parts.
I also ordered new brake calipers and pads from RockAuto.
I think I’m done part collecting, now I need to get them in and assemble.

I hope so. I have used it for my own reference to remember how long a unit bearing or a set of balljoints lasted. Hopefully, it's helped others.
I will try to start replacing the photos as I can. I just have to be careful. Years ago my better half accused me of spending more time on JF than with her. I will have to avoid that situation if possible...which isn't.

Update. I got seatbelts in the rear with a seat for my daughter. Went to pick her up from school and the fuel pump goes.
Flat towed it home later.
Then I tested out my free Jerry can to siphon our 19 gallons of gas.
Nice build!
