Went to the  Carolinas Region Porsche Club autocross held at the Michelin Laurens Proving Grounds today. Wonderful event, great venue, and super nice people. And, wahoo!, I won...1st in V8 non-Porsche and Fastest time of the day- (w/out penis), but I think I was only 0.4sec of FTD (w/penis). 
I drove really well today. Stayed focused on being more agressive; getting on throttle harder-faster exiting a turn, and braking hard & early (felt like extra early) coming into a turn. I also got to practice up/down shifting throughout the course, it felt natural and I now feel silly it intimidated me before. 
On the critical points: My tires never reached optimal psi (I should have pumped them up before I got there) and I had some excessive tire roll, which isn't the prettiest to see on my sidewalls. Also, I only recorded ONE of my six laps, and it wasn't the fast one, of course. So boo ?, but that does push me more urgently to get the Solo Storm or Track Addicts app. ( I have a nice Garmin virb, hooked up and everything, but I forget to turn it on ?)
Today was made even more enjoyable by Jennifer C Fuller, David Jones, and Nathan Kaiser. Really enjoyed these car crazy buds! (pics are coming!!)
PS. This event was a rescheduled autocross (due to hurricane Florence), hence the wrong date on the mug.

Great thread! I had a 2013 Mustang GT. I regret that I never got to take it to a track and really see what it could do. Looks like a blast!
