We got the solid mounts in. WHAT A PAIN IN THE ***!
Just to be clear, We are not doing the pedestal type solid mounts. My friend fabricated steel mounts that attach to a normal BMR Turbo Kmember. And no, he wont build them for anyone else. The amount of time required to make them and the liability that could be associated with it makes it not worth it. Also, becasue the steel doesn't flex like the poly/clamshell type mount, it is not very forgiving at all as it pertains to alignment. I think that my motor moved up 1/2 inch as there is no sag either.
Changed the break-in oil. Looked good.
Also got the CO2 filled today, found the fittings required in order to backfill the 10oz bottle from a 15lb mother bottle, and got it all hooked up. Works well.
Gotta do a little tuning tomorrow. She is a little rich up top right now.
I just need a set of tires and I'm ready to give her hell.
I got the spring in the gate at about 7 psi. Controller is setup to make 12 psi. Got on it in drive and hit the controller at about 5500 RPM. It felt like I sprayed it.
That's the only conclusive data I have so far. No tuning or data logging today. Too much Halloween traffic.
I got the tires on the car today.
Unfortunately, I'm having some fueling issues. Rather, lack of fueling. The pump isnt cutting off, it's acting more like it's running dry. The tank is full but the pump sounds like its cavatating. I think there might be a chunk of plastic that may have come loose in the tank. These stock tanks on the 98's are metal but they have a plastic liner on the inside and the baffles are also plastic. When we drilled thru the bottom to weld on the bung, it made a pretty big mess. When we welded the bung on, it made an even bigger mess because the plastic in the tank wanted to catch on fire. We cleaned it and cleaned it and cleaned it but some brittle plastic must have broken off in there. The bigger problem now is that I have a full tank of gas that I need to siphon out in order to try to hunt down the culprit. Oh well, it's always something.

I do have an access hatch. The pump is external. Hence the bung that we welded in the bottom of the tank. If there is a loose piece of plastic around there somewhere, I don't know that I would see it or find it in there. Then there is the issue of getting it out of the tank once I find it. It's a pain in the ***.
Sorry, it's been a while since I updated this thread.
The fueling problem was not an obstruction. MagnaFuel said that it's vapor lock as the fuel was getting too hot and boiling in the tank. Sounds good doesn't it. Their solution was to add a fuel cooler on the retun side. I believe that much of the heat was being caused from using the stock feed line for the return. Right in that area where the stock feedline runs down the frame is the same area where my 4" DP exits the engine compartment. Fuel line and DP were within 4" of each other for a good 3-4 feet before my DP crosses to the other side. Now I have run a new -6 return with hose down the passenger side. I have not had the problem since but the ambient temps have dropped 10-20* since the last time that it did it. Can't be sure if that problem is resolved but one can only hope.
So far a best of 9.57 @ 142 @ 14psi and 18* of timing with the boost jumping around all over the place. WG diaphragm is torn. Ordered a new one today.
