Thanks guys. Once I get the 8 sec slip, I am going to change my focus over to stealth. Gonna try bringing the 4" pipe over the rear axle and splitting into dual 3" in the back with 2 Borla XR1's. Might even put an electric cutout on one pipe (like the C6 Z06's) so that while cruising around, I will be incognito.

Getting started on the to-do-list with the car. So I went and saw my buddy Lou at the exhaust shop today. Can't say enough about his skills but besides that, he does it how you want it. So the idea here is that the path of least resistance remains 4" mandrel all the way thru. In an effort to get the quietest performance possible, he "T"d off the 4" pipe with a 3" that goes across under the gas tank (stock muffler location) and then dumps right before the back bumper. Just the way it is right now, it's much quieter. I took a ride down to Boynton and bought a 4" flange to weld on the end of the 4" pipe and I'll have to get my buddy Dave to make me a block-off plate. This will divert all exhaust flow to the 3" side with the 2nd muffler and should yield the true silent running that I have been after. I may still buy an electric cut-out to hang back there for instant on power.
Getting the 4" pipe out the back:
He tacked everything up and pulled it out to get it all welded nice:
Installed and in the car:
Came out just how I wanted and no rattles or clunks. Drove it over 50 miles right after.
I will be holding off for a new engine management system before trying to back up the 8.9X 1/4 mile pass thru the new exhaust.
