Ok I am now one HAPPY CAMPER
That did it, I moved the tail panel up 1/8" on the left side.
Now it is time to start welding the tail panel

Allmost done grinding the welds on the tail panel
OMG every time I got grinding to do I remember why I hate it!!! lol but it is part of the resto process
Thats it for today, I think my arms are gonna fall off.
Everything that is welded is ground and ready for POR-15 and primer.
I got some 60 grit Roloc 2" discs coming by tuesday to finish the grinding.

I got the studs mounted for the trunk lock.
Now I can work on finishing the finish panel.
Some of you have asked about my rotisserie. Here is some specs and measurements.
FIRST SOME SAFETY STUFF...................
If you are a beginner welder you should have someone weld that knows how real good.
NEVER work under the car.
I found out that I should have added a 2 inch square brace on each stand across the legs that would extend about 3-4 feet past each leg for stability. When I put 1 door on the car I almost dumped it due to the wieght on one side when I opened the door to put on the stricker.
I started with 2 engine stands. The ones that have a square upright, not the rectangular one, and some 2 inch square stock. It will make the car easier to move around if you find 2 stands that have 4 swivel casters.
I forgot to add that I put a 2 inch square piece from stand to stand so both stands move together when moving the car around.
Each stand from the floor to the top of the round piece is 49 inches
THE REAR
the rear across is 52 inches
2 pieces that are 8 inches long are welded to each end with two 1/2 inch bolts, I welded the heads of these bolts so ya don't have to worry about them turning.
I have the rear bolted into the lower bumper mount holes.
THE FRONT
The front is 47 inches across
each side has a 8 1/2 inch piece going down then a 5 1/2 inch piece going toward the back of the car. These 2 pieces have a 1/2 inch bolt that goes thru the front subframe mount bolt hole.
The 1/2 inch bolts fit right thru the subframe bolt hole.
Amazing Job! Really saved this car from rusting away!
