My New Garage....
Ive been slacking a little as far as the cars concerned. Last weekend i went fishing with a few friends and had a small side job, needless to say i didnt have any camaro time. This helped me not to get spot weld burnout I just needed a break away from the car for a weekend. Now well rested im ready to get back to work on the car. Here are a few pics of a canopy my buddy was nice enough to let me use to escape weather and the sun while working on my car its been close to 90 degrees here, i added a few tarps to create roll up side curtians. I will have at least one full day of car time and Sunday will be for getting the yard work caught up that i have been neglecting while working on the car. (fun stuff)

Juat a little headway.... With my yard work taking much longer than expected and mothers day i only had a few hours of car time over the weekend. But i did manage to remove the two repair panels off of my donor to fix the drivers side cowl and lower door hinge pillar. Once removed i trimmed to fit and glass beaded both parts, then gave them a bath in ospho.
I will get the insides primed and painted on monday and start welding them into the car along with the outer rocker during the week.
Back to work afterwork
After work today i prepped the drivers side floor pan and the two rear outer wheelhouse's and my two cowl patches for epoxy primer. With the exception of the cowl patches I only primed the underside of the floor pan and the topside of the wheelhouses which will be not accessable once installed. The prime on the skirts will be top coated before being installed. The floor pan will stay in prime until the trunk pan is installed and the rest of the undercarrige cleaned. Not sure if i want to paint the underside or undercoat it??? The inside of the car will be stripped and epoxy primed after the welding in the rear of the car is finished. All of the metal from grinding will leave little rust spots all over the inside of the car, so the inside will be last when all grinding is complete.
I already had the brake pedal and gas pedal glass beaded cleaned and red oxide primed, they were painted satin black
I still need to top coat the inside of the cowl patches before i can weld them in place. I already have the inside of my outer rocker primed and painted. So hopefully by wednesday the welding will start then the grinding
Great cars so cool back then. I believe about $3,600 at the time?
