I put oil and Lucas (sp?) oil additive in for the cam break in. I started on the rear end and found out that I need a 36mm socket for the hubs : /

I worked on the rear brakes. I did not get any pictures up. My lastest order from Ireland should should be on its way very soon. Found out that my front calipers will be a little late : / Hopefully not that late.

Soooo I wen tout to the garage and grabbed my breaker bar and it was damn cold. So I went got dinner looked at the thermostat and well it is under 15 degrees outside. Well so not much got done tonight and I am waiting on my order so I can get my parts in.

I got the flywheel bolted up. I found out that it is actually supposed to be machined with a "step" but from some research and talking to some older guys, I will be fine with how it was machined. The step basically gave the clutch a little extra life by fine tuning it.

Soo I got the new electric fuel pump all set up and working off a switch : ) Also some more random wiring done. Sorry no pics right now.

I got the springs and shocks in, I was rushed because well I am sharing a garage. So I will have pictures up soon, but I had to get her on a roller.

I am waiting to get her back up in the air to show some pictures of the suspension. . . etc.

Got the transmission partially in today. I ended up taking the engine out then swinging it all in. Then I mocked some parts up for fitment etc.

hahaha. I did not think everyone would be soo excited about the water meth!

It is running a higher compression, but not super high, I am not sure bout how I am going to set my timing. For the "school" aspect of the project I needed something that I would could modify for the dyno runs "before" and "after" to see a power increase or decrease. It is merely just to see changes in power if there are any with the current setup. But with it it may lead to more. . . .you never know, but no promises haha

So today turned out to be a ****ty day on the Dyno. I was able to get one recorded run in without running the meth. When the meth was turned on there were more issues with it running. Long story short she has to be tuned. I was given another day on the Dyno (wed) to finish up my runs. I plan on trying to get the car to run perfectly tomorrow and START.

Anyways for those of you wondering. At the wheels:

Well. The engine is modified so I am happy with the numbers at the wheels. Those numbers are without the water/meth injection running. When the water/meth was added, the engine was not running right under load. I was given an extension until wed to figure out the minor issues and get her running again.


Don't let my crookidy face fool you I am very happy with those numbers, but they could be better : D


EDIT: BTW that was not a 4th gear pull that was a "1/4 mile sprint" If everything goes well I will be doing a 4th gear pull

So there was a combination of problems of why she was no longer running. The Distributor Jumped Time and all four plugs were shot haha. She starts up nicely now.

Today was a ****ty day on the dyno. So I still have the numbers from moday I thought I would post those. I am having issues with the car. Once I figure out what is wrong I will let you know.
