JEEP WRANGLER 87-95 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove shift knobs (They are both threaded on to the lever).
2. Remove the 7 Screws that hold the OEM boot to the floor.
3. Remove the metal mounting plate from the original boot (It is glued on and can easily be separated)
4. Glue the new Redline Goods Boot to the mounting ring (I used a quick dry two part epoxy) Apply pressure while glue is drying.
5. Once the glue is dry punch holes out of the leather to allow the mounting screws to pass through the mounting bracket.
6. Feed the shift Levers through the boot and install all the mounting screws and both knobs
CONGRATULATIONS - YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED YOUR NEW LEATHER BOOTS!
Useful tip
You have installed a product made out of genuine leather. As you know, to maintain a leather product in good condition, you should take care of it. We suggest occasionally (every 4-6 week for example) applying some leather conditioner/UV protector to keep your leather from drying up in the sun and cracking.
