So I unstuck the metering rod plunger in the carb( I think that's what its called anyways). I went to the napa store to order a rebuild kit. No luck there. I'm going to go to a couple other places this week. If they can't get one I can order one from the states. Around 65$ with shipping and exchange rate. So not too bad. I cleaned and painted the top of the air cleaner assembly. I don't like the colour and I'm going to re paint it. I went to the surplus store to grab some more lights and toggle switches. There out of the lights I want. When I bought them they were a dollar a peice and now there 10 a peice on Amazon. Good thing I only need 1 more. I didn't like there toggle switches there so I'm gonna go to tsc and princess auto and see what they have. I didnt take any pics either.

I haven't done very much with the jeep lately. Atleast nothing worth posting about. Since I still have alot of body work to do I've been thinking alot about cutting the back half of the body rite off and turning it into a little truck style cab and making a little flat deck to go on the back of it. I've googled some build threads and looked at some different pics. I think it would look really good but it would also be alot more work.

I picked up another toggle switch for my switch board I made for the winch. It's an on/off/on switch which that i will use for in and out while I'm in the jeep. I've decided I'm going ahead with cutting up the body for a truck cab and will make a small flat deck for the back half. I'm gonna stretch the wheel base a bit while I do it but I'm not sure how much yet. I've never worked with fiber glass before but I'm gonna shorten the hard top for it and see if I can find another one for a hard top bikini top
This is the toggle switch I picked up. Just like the jeep its nothing fancy. I did find another led light in the garage to finish the panel with. I think when i do the rear stretch i might go with 8 inches. I did move the engine farther back a while ago so i would have maximum rad to fan clearance. So with a bit of stretch in the rear and using the 9 inch my rear drive shaft length and angle should be alot better. I think when I do the body I'm not gonna leave a tail gate on it, just weld a peice of sheet metal into its place but still use the back window on the hard top. I'm going to try and use the rear corners off the body and see how everything looks.
