Started at 6am this morning! Progress will slow from tomorrow because Iam back at work!
At the moment I am waiting for paint to dry.
Timing case prep for paint today.
Started out looking like this
3 and a half hours later and a lot of sore fingers! bare alloy-
Now i may be a pen pusher but my hands are pretty tough, but even mine are now suffering.
Painted silver
Timing marks before
After
Water pump prepped and painted red next.
Heres my sign in the garage
Must change that to read "repay with CASH" for parts!!
Waiting for more paint to dry!
Water pump before
1 hour and a bit later
Looks clean in there
In etch primer grey
White primer
Red next.
water pump is now red
While that is drying, its oil pan off time. State of the oil pickup screen will be interesting.
First view inside the pan
Not much debris.
First views of the bottom end
Love this build, so much work!
