Update,
So, we was up early today to make the trip to Bingley Mini show. We arrived around 9.30 and went straight in to what I can only describe as madness, utter madness !
The Mini scene seems to have exploded over the last year as it was the busiest I've ever seen it, a lot busier than last year in my opinion. After having my toes trampled on and waiting for what seemed like an eternity to be served at the various stalls, I poured even more into my bottomless money pit and got almost everything I had on my list and more, with the exception of glass and various magnolia gauges, as no where seemed to have them.
Rant over, this is what I came away with -
And a few close ups -
I absolutely adore the DSN Billet bits, and I saved almost £100 on the Burr handle set and cappings. The packet in the background is underlay for the floors, so that coupled with the silver bitumen pads that I've already laid down, and my Newton carpet set should keep the noise right down.
Anyway, that should keep me busy for a while now, I'm going to get the glass from Minispares next week and then drop it off to be tinted. Haven't got too much more to do until she's ready for the road and I can't wait, I've got some BIG road trips planned for summer time !

Update,
I've been able to get a quick hour in today, so I've gotten the felt sound deadening in.
It's a really nice quality felt, and it's a good half inch thick -
Here it is in the car, it required a small amount of trimming but nothing major. It's damn hard to cut though ! -
And I also got the front bumper on -
I think the next jobs I'll do will be to get the handbrake assembly fitted, finish off refurbishing the gear selector and get that in, then the carpets can go in.

Update,
Picked up some much needed supply's yesterday, de greaser, spray glue, paint and what not. I've also bought stainless nuts and bolts to replace all of the mild steel ones on the gear selector, and a couple of things from Minispares, heres a picture -
Also picked up some door glass, didn't have the rear screen in stock so I'll have to wait -
So, onto today's progress. I degreased, cleaned and re-greased the window regulators -
Fitted the window runners onto the glass -
And then went outside to build the doors up. I put some non setting putty around the window regulator hole like so -
Also replaced the foam pads behind the door workings -
Then we fitted the glass and chrome weather strips, here's the passenger door -
And the same procedure for the drivers door, putty on -
Glass in and weather strip on -
I picked up some plastic sheeting for the doors from Newton Commercial when we went to Bingley, it's great quality and fits perfectly -
Happy with that I went back inside and made up a parcel shelf out of hardboard -
I've covered it in black suede left over from when I recovered the dash rails, here's the finished thing -
That's all the progress for today, I'll have more tomorrow !
