Went in today
Update,
Well we got the companion in today, and finished a few other bits and pieces.
Holes drilled for plugs for the companion bin -
Then I tiger sealed all the seams that will be hard to get to once the companion bin goes in, no pictures of this but I thought this was quite funny when I pulled the funnel cap off -
Companion bin went in next, looks scruffy here but will be tidied up soon -
Then we welded in the rear quarter repair -
Not too bad when it's got primer on -
Then we went about fitting the closing panel -
Had to make this little bit to fill the gaps you can see in the above picture, pattern panels for you I guess -
All welded in and primed -
Still got to make a panel for the seat base to weld the top of the heel board to, hence the reason for the gap by the closing panel, and a few other pieces to make too.
Also painted the inside of my outer sill -
Bought some of this stuff to fill in the rear quarter repair and other bits of filling Ill need to do -
Highly recommended on this forum so i think I'll have a play with it tomorrow. That's it for today
