Now although it looks the nuts with the wheels, sadly they'll have to take a backseat for the MOT. I've gone through everything I can think of. So wish me luck! The aim is for this week, I'll be at Stanford hall this sunday!
Final bit of work needed was the accelerator captive studs that had pulled away from the bulkhead.
And as she sits now! all working and ready for the road!

They really aren't cheap! the only cheap GT's around are rotten to hell! Mine looked quite unoriginal to begin with, but underneath it's all there! This one was a bit of a bargain, but it's still taken a hell of a lot of time and money to get to an even vaguely road legal standard! She went in for her first MOT on Thursday and sadly failed. The only major issues they picked up on where the front hub ball joints which where badly worn. I could tell this as soon as I set off to the garage she drove like a blancmange was all over the place and was very twitchy on the steering! But sadly this was the first time I'd driven her and they seemed fine static. After 14 years off the road I'm not too disappointed. All the items I had taken care of were complimented on, and not a spec of rust on the car! So a few adjustments, new ball joints and wheel bearings, and she'll be ready properly for her MOT.
