It certainly is rocking the battle scarred look! 

The only cosmetic changes it needs at the moment is a passenger side underrider as I couldn't find a replacement in my collection! 

I don't half get some funny looks, well they're already turned waiting as people hear it coming a mile off!

I know what you mean, I still don't know what to do with it really, I quite like the usability of it as it looks. I've got (well not mine per se, but to play with) Immaculate mini's, and you just can't use them! They'd go bad so quickly. Where as this I've got no issue rubbing back and painting any bubbles or spots, & because of this it remains remarkably solid, well if you allow the dodgy previous patches. 

It will require a full new exhaust before the next MOT though, as my vintage Janspeed one is starting to rust through in about a million places. It's a real shame as it really does sound amazing on full chat. 

I think a maniflow is the only real alternative.

Also here's some more gratuitous shots of where it'll be sat outside of for a while. 

So it may receive some goodies if it behaves.

So it's been a busy week for the GT, over 400 miles! Concluded with a 140 mile run back to Leicestershire. Not bad for a car that didn't have an engine in it last week!

 I have to say though she doesn't like being in traffic, the clutch really starts to drag when she gets hot, the heater valve leaks, and the rad isn't exactly sealed.... The temperature gauge did start to rise! 

All things I'll have to address. I have no idea what to do with the clutch though. It's a brand-new clutch, brand-new master and slave! there was no play in the plunger, or the ball on the throw arm! It's bled, and adjusted to the specs in my service manual! What more can I do! 

A gratuitous picture, I really can't resist a quick snap every now and again, the rat look is growing on me....

Oh and look what arrived!

 The GT, and one of her stablemates will be at the Leyland Show on Sunday! 

She's certainly not a show car and I'm probably going to get some funny looks next to immaculate minis, but I have better wheels.

& if they people get bitchy I'll refer them to what else we bring. :)
