Side Skirt Extensions
Compliments of 03tLsNBP @ https://acurazine.com

I have been thinking about doing this for a while and looked up some other DIYs from other forums. This is what I came up with.
Approx time required: 30 min to 1 hour
I bought this:
2x 8ft pieces

I cut each one to the length of the OEM side skirt. I rounded the edges with my orbital sander. Then I painted them gloss black.
Then I used 3M heavy duty (5lb capacity) double sided tape along the length of the skirt. I mounted mine so that they stick out 3cm in the front and 3cm in the rear. This matches the amount that my front and rear wheels stick out past the OEM side skirts. You can mount them however far out you want, and make them whatever shape you want. That's all up to you.
After I stuck it to the OEM side skirt in a position that I liked, I used 1" self tapping screws (about 10 of them) along the length of each side skirt. It's pretty damn solid. Unless someone really steps on it.
This is my version 1. Maybe down the road when I get more time, I'll laminate it with carbon fiber and add some curves or something to it.
***If you do not have OEM body kit side skirts, you can probably still use the same method to make an extension. Home Depot and Lowes have PVC/Composite planks in 3/4" thickness which will look awesome. I used the 5/16" thickness because I am already so low.***
***Please excuse my rear wheels. My aftermarket rear wheel is getting a new tire so I had the stockies on for a few days.***
***THESE DO NOT INTERFERE WITH THE OEM JACK POINTS***
Enjoy!
