I have been neglecting things here... changing tires every 1000 miles isn't that much fun to post about... I do have new control arms now though, pics to come...gonna do some nifty brake ducts soon...and yes, I did ride shotgun in Joe's Nova! the best part of that was my drivers license was quite safe.

Well, transmission #2 is toast. Fried the input shaft. super overheated the gear. So lesson to be learned is, they say its rated to 700lb. ft. That may be true on a dyno, but in the real world the fluid goes to the back of the case, the front goes dry, and boom! Gear goes to ****. It started to whine within 500 miles, now it's at 3000 and I can't drive it anymore. Next time it's gearsprayer under all boost conditions.

It's the extended high torque pulls that kill the input shaft gear and meshing driven gear on the cluster shaft. Physically, these 2 gears are the farthest ones forward. They are under load in every gear except for 4th, where the input shaft and output shaft are locked together. Hence 1:1 ratio. The new case has a plug which lines up perfectly with the input shaft gear which will now have a lubrication jet installed to spray oil on that gear whenever I am under boost, or, when the pump is on full time. (Race mode).
Replacement parts are not available yet. The input shaft is $295, the clusteris $550 plus a 25% handling fee and 30 days to get it, or at least that's what my local tremec dealer told me.

I bought a bender and a pipe notcher from KMS tools and built my own. The pre bent low cost ones take up more room in the car than I wanted to use. I wanted as non-intrusive as possible and still functional. If it's not something you can do yourself, I know a guy.
Great build!
