i got an early Father's Day gift

i worked on the parts to get ready for the strips. i found out that i had to base/clearcoat all the panels. i sanded down both sides of the trunk. i will fix the bottom with blue and clear. then i sanded the trunk filler panel and the spoiler. I took off the hood to sand it and noticed multiple spots where the hood has hit the cowl and radiator support. so now i have to fix all that and blend in the blue and re-clear the bottom of the hood. i didn't have enough time this weekend so i hung my plastic to enclose the garage before painting the rear parts. here are some pics.

I also sprayed filler primer on all the spots of the hood above. i will sand the top of the hood and front header panel then base/clearcoat the parts. I will also try to shim up the front fenders on the cowl and radiator support to help get a little clearance. Thanks for checking out my progress.
