SHE
IS
ALIVE!!!
Here is 2 vids of her running. Gotta find out how to make the vids longer. The minor set back we had was the Summit solenoid took a chit om me. While I was adjusting the rockers, the engine started cranking by itself. So I had to got to Autozone and get a new one.
Enjoy the vids.
I will do some tunning, figure how to make vids longer and be back latter with a better vid
In the first vid, can ya hear my wife calling me a dork? lol
Heres a vid after setting the timing @ 40 total, and setting the fuel/air screws. Still gotta find the camera book to find how to get a vid more then 1 min.
Last vid for today. Camera under rear end. Idle with some mild rpm"s

Any ideas or tips???

TGIF!!!Got me an ice cold 12pk of Miller Lite, and the internal coil spring compressor from Autozone. It is only 80 degrees here toady, that is a HUGE difference from 95
Got the heights wrote down, right n left from floor to bottom of fender lip 29 3/8". Bumper bottom to floor 18 7/8".
EDIT: Typo on measruements lol
Lets crack open a beer n get to cuttin those springs!

Ok. I cut one full coil off the bottom. The coils on the top n bottom are wound almost on top of each other, so I figured one to start with. Now if I go more I will only cut 1/4 coil at a time. The fender lip from the floor now measures 27 1/4". so she came down 2 1/8". Lookin pretty good I think. I will get some better pics outside in the morning.
Now she bounces up n down without the UCA hitting the frame
EDIT: Spelling lol
Had her outside for some better after pics. I figure when the 70 series tires come off the back n get the 60's, that will lower the back about 1" or so. I am gonna cut a 1/4 coil out of the fronts n see how she looks.
First 4 pics are before .Last 3 are after.
OK, heres a few pics after 1/4 coil out. She came down another inch. The fender lip to the floor now is 26 1/4". So thats 3 1/8" total drop after 1 1/4 coils out. But please remember..............this is my car, your car may be different.
I got one inch of the 1 1/2" Doug suggested.
This is where she will stay for now. After I get her all together and the same size tires all the way around, will remeasure and see how she is.
Ya I'm bored lol
Had to go up in the attic to get the rubber trim for the rear bumper. Had to grab the front license plate bracket lol
Got the rear bumper rubber trim cleaned up n painted trim black. Next, I'll start on wire wheeling the bumper.

Finished stripping the bumper. Got epoxy primer on the bumper, mirrors and the door handles. Ran out of mixed paint so I'll do the door locks at another time.
Gonna go to my buddys to see how he's doing on the 77LT he is working on.
Maybe I can talk him into starting a project thread.
Amazing Job! Really saved this car from rusting away!
