Ok, so I got alittle sidetracked on the pedals.
Found a machine shop right down the street that had the flywheel bolts in stock. I had to get the starter n flywheel mounted lol
That is a lightweight steel flywheel that weights only 12 lbs.
Got the clutch pedal repaired. Now to get both pedals and the support blasted n painted.
All blasted n ready for primer then gloss black.
I love when old parts come out lookin like new
Now lets see, still got a few hrs left today so what next???????? LOL
Figured I might as well start on the shifter install. I've got the Hurst V-gate 2 inline shifter. Many years ago, one of my buddys had this shifter in a 68 Lemans and I said then I WILL have a car with this shifter in it some day
Since Mr Gasket bought Hurst they stopped making the install kit for this shifter for the Saginaw trans
So I bought an install kit for a BW T-10, Super T-10. Which gives me all the rods n hardware. I just have to fab up a mounting plate from shifter to trans.
Got everything down from the attic to start on this tomorrow.
Oh ya, check out the last 2 pics of the custom handle I got from a guy on ebay that custom makes these handles.
I think it is toooooooooooooooo cool and HAD to hove one lol
OMG did I screw up when I bought the instal kit
The kit I bought is for a ford BW T-10, Super T-10. I thought BW T-10, Super T-10 was all the same. Ha, guess not LOL.
The rod arms are not the same size where they mount to the trans, I thought about filling them out but the clock position is not even close.
So much for doing the shifter install tomorrow
Now there is an upside to this...............I see this ford install kit on ebay for $269.00 buy it now plus shipping. So maybe I'll list it for $175-195 free shipping and I'll have enough to get the kit I need. Sounds good in theory, right? LOL

Well since the shifter installl is on hold till I find a saginaw kit, figured I gotta do somethin lol
Will work on the wiper motor n rods.
All blasted , primed and ready for paint
Dne painting. I think thats about it for today, had waaaaaaaaay to many beers last night lol
P.S. I did wipe off that one drip lol
Just painted the bolts so can't mount anything till tomorrow
I HAD to throw the wiper motor on before bed lol

Got the arms on n hooked up to the wiper motor, and guess
what? ..............It works lol
Think I'm goona wait till I get a rebuild kit for the pump, so I only gotta take it apart once lol

Been playin with the low spots and small dents I put in the roof with the garage door opener when she was on th rotisserie. So far looks pretty good, just got 2 low spots.
The only thing that pissed me off was I wanted to get some more epoxy primer on it where I sanded to bare metal, but I don't have any more laquor thinner to clean the gun will have to get some after work tomorrow.

After filling n sanding(again) thought I had all the low spots but saw/felt a few more. After this dries and sand, maybe thats it(for now lol)
Hoping to get more epoxy primer on the bare spots tonight.
Maybe more in awhile
Well.................the roof looks like CHIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!!!!!!
I am not happy with it at all.
I was trying to streach the paint cause I was afraid I would run out and I did.
Time to regroup for a day or so n see what happens.
Maybe I hit the panic button alittle to soon LOL
I guess I am just alittle nervous about the car lookin good when she is done.
Roof does look pretty good now that it is drying.

Just playin with some more low spots
Oh ya................I forgot to add the roof looks good today, It is FULLY dry now. I guess I put it on to thick in some spots and it freaked me out is all.
Allmost got one side done then the generic longboard I got a HarborFreight decided it was gonna come apart. Doesn't work to good in 3 peices. I put alot of sanding miles on it, so I can't complain for 8 bucks lol I'll get another one tomorrow after work or first thing saturday.
Amazing Job! Really saved this car from rusting away!
