Upgraded my air line today, I think that took care of the water prob but still gonna look into a better seperator, and need a regulator.
Now the one concern I got is......................sandblasting with no water in the lines I am making ALOT more dust in the air. Even with the ventalation I got, there is still ALOT of dust. The resperator I got is for paint, is that good enough for sandblasting? Or should I stop using sand and use something like Black beauty?
I read about breathing silica sand and that is NOT good.

Hey Mark, I've had a ruff few days trying to get the sandblasting done underneath so I can get to the trunk floor and tail panel.
First had probs getting the sandblast working, then ran into undercoating all over the place and had to heat with propane torch and scrape off, what a PITA, heres some pics of what is done so far, hope to finish blasting today.

While sandblasting under the trunk floor...................I found a whole bunch of rust holes, but no biggie as I orded the oversize trunk floor pan. I'll just change almost the whole thing to the solid metal all the way in the back. Whish I had noticed this before, would have save me some sandblasting.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Hooooooooooooooooooo
the sandblasting is Done!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let me blow the car off (dont even go there lol) and clean up around the car so I dont have wear the resp. and I'll post some pics soon
Ok.................here is some pics of the finished sandblasting, turned out ok I guess
Ya it's still solid but it just looks like...............well I can't say that in here but you know what I mean.
Remeber earlier in this thread I changed the left frame rail and it came out so good, I just don't like how the right one looks. After looking at the pics I think you will agree with me.
First pic is of the left one I changed and the 2nd is of the right one.
Amazing Job! Really saved this car from rusting away!
