Got the plates in both sides and all welding done. Also got the X brace built but ran out of time for today to put back on rotisserie.

Ran into one small snag.................the hole I used for cross measurements on top of frame near the rear is different size on donor frames then on the ones I took off, so the rear of both frames are pointing inward and not square. Old hole 1" and donor hole 3/4" so that made frames point in.
Easy fix though, I'll cut sides and leave outside of each attached, bend out to correct measurements and plate inside and weld up. Sounds easy right? lol

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa Hooooooooooooooooo back on the rotisserie  
The frame rails or NOW square. I even set a leaf spring on to make sure.

Now for the part I love......................grinding all those welds

Got all the welds on frame all gound down, had to fill afew then grind some more, then primed.
Tomorrow after work while having a few beers and starting my Vacation.................I'll look things over and get a plan of attack for the weekend. Maybe it is time to get the rest of the underneath all sandblasted and primed. Then start playing with the trunk floor.
Allrighty then, sounds like a plan
