Powdercoated the compressor cover, catch can and overflow bottle.
Kirkey seats arrived. Needed to get these before the car goes to the cage builder next month (getting an 8.50 certified 10pt).

Getting it ready for a cage.
Factory front and rear seat belt systems removed. 40lbs total
Factory front leather seats were 48lbs each.
Going to be removing all the sound deadening with dry ice. Hoping for a good chunk of weight gone from that.

Found some wheels I've really wanted. 15x8 TE37's. They are currently wrapped in brand new M&H 26x8.5 slicks however i'm going to have to eventually swap these out for DOT's so the car is class legal (IFO & Shootout).
I need brakes next....
Also was able to drop it off last night at Diamond Race Cars in Ohio for the cage. 10pt 8.50 with kirkey's and parachute. The chute will be removable so it can still appear to be a stock body street car.

Picked up the car last week from the cage builder. It came out really good. Fitment is excellent and very tight to all the panels and roof. I'll get some photo's this week of it (it was dark and I left for TX2k as soon as I got it home).
Hoping to get some time by this weekend to paint the cage and get the interior back in.

Should be able to get it painted and mostly back together sunday.

Got the dash in and some other stuff. Painting the cage this week and should have the interior 100% buttoned up this weekend.

Painted the cage and got most of the interior in. Just need to mount the seats and some misc stuff.
Ended up just removing the headliner. It was ugly and sagging.

Buttoned of the rest of the car last night. Dyno is this evening.
Found a completely dead full pump. Threw two new ones in to be safe.
Interior all together. Feels much nicer.
Car is also back on DOT tires for IFO and Shootout. These tires are the M&H G60 which are 26.2" tall vs the M&H 235/50/16 street strip tires that are only 25.4".
I am hoping the scales are on at the track so I can see what this thing weighs.

Everything went well. The car is performing flawless as usual.
Car made 611 on the dyno. Left it at 40psi.
Track also went pretty well aside from it being packed for opening day and only being able to make 1 real pass and the slow stall. I was only able to leave at about 5lbs of boost. We are tuning the stall this week so I can leave at 15-20 lbs.
Based on how it did with a 1.84 60', i'm going to guess the car is going to pick up at least 6mph and .8 in the ET with a 1.4x 60'. Last year, my car would trap at 132/133 with a 1.8 60'. Car is way up in power and it feels incredible. Next track visit will be IFO Hebron in 2 weeks.

IFO Hebron - made it to the semi finals where I was eliminated (close race with a 9 second civic). Qualified #2 with a 9.97@141

Nice photo from IFO. I have a couple improvements to make to the car before the next outing (biggest one being an alignment, i totally screwed myself there trying to get one last minute).
I'm planning to attend IFO Joilet next weekend possibly, then Milan IFO in the end of May.

Ran a 9.60@146mph in the IFO Joliet finals. Lost to the Evo that ran a 9.1@157mph. Pretty stoked for the new personal best.

Hoping to get the STM small front & rear brake kit and a 3" DSS driveshaft on the car soon. Looking like that will shed a good 35lbs in rotational weight.
Other than that I am not changing anything until winter.
