Learning from the Pros!
So as you know I had Cameron over at Swedish Relics rebuild my M41 a couple months back. Cameron had mentioned the bolts on the original box that he took apart was slathered in Loctite. I was like, oh okay that sucks...I guess. I really didn't understand how this would make the job anymore difficult. Fast forward to last Sunday and I was disassembling the motor of the little things like sensors, thermostat bolts and few other odds and ends that Voltech will need for my Big Bore build. I got to the injector bungs and realized something was wrong. The allen head bolts that hold the housing down were VERY difficult to remove. Feeling determined I took all my weight and pulled with all my force. POP! The allen head loosened and my thumb got stuck between the allen wrench and one the rocker arms! My thumb nail cracked at the bottom of the nail. OUCH!
This is after getting the blood out from under the nail. Lesson learned! Thanks Cameron for the heads up. Next time I'll listen!
