Let me start by saying sorry for not updating this page for a LONG time. I'm still working on the beloved 1800 every chance I get. I wanted to show you some of the work that doesn't look like much.

I polished all the original brake and fuel lines. Gasoline works well for removing the initial undercoating! I than used about 5 different types of metal polish and found I still like Mother's polish compound best after all these years! I painted the little metal hold-downs with black ceramic paint. I than added the stainless lines and things are looking good. Here are some pics of the progress! Just as a reminder for those that are new to the blog. All the undercoating was removed and the undercarriage was sprayed with truck bed liner. Anything green in the pics is from my flash on my camera phone. Everything looks better when you're under the car.

Also, note there is a lot of Rage Gold dust from the body work down there. It will all come off after I'm done with the body.

Oh, and my son Kingston continues to grow and will soon be cruising with his old man and wife in the car!

Need advice! Rob over at Vol-tech is working on my motor and said I need to find a GOOD header. So Stahl has been difficult to find, but that's the quality I want. Do you guys know of another company even if it's across the pond, that makes a great header? Just a heads up, too: Cam at Volvo Relix is finishing up my gearbox and overdrive (great guy!), Rob's building the motor and I'm still working on everything else. The project continues.....
