i can tell you this external Wastegate works flawlessly...glad i put it in a location where I am able to access WG spring and set it to my desired PSI ...my target boost is 22 psi so running just of the waste gate with my TCV unplugged - first I had a .7 bar rate springs which at WOT gave me 13 psi of boost no matter what , then I swapped to .6 bar spring rate which gave me at WOT 10.5 psi of boost no matter what ...little off spring rate wise buuuut = BUT NO MORE FOUCKIN 20G BOOST CREEPER.
FYI: I must tell you that testing this/my Genuine Tial it does leak at the valve stem just as I found out searching online, which they say it is normal...also I can tell you it does function properly...so I am not sure how relevant this tiny leak is...but if I knew that prior I would buy 40mm Synapse WG for sure.
here I am replacing .6 bar spring.
here is a great video showing how it leaks at the valve stem.
