This will also work for Volvo 850s!
Anyway - this bulb replacement is different than the rest of the rocker switches because you don't have direct access to the bulb. Thanks Volvo. So you have to take the switch apart and then either separate the circuit board from the piece it's attached to, or do what I did and hack away at the plastic part to gain access to the bulb.
Be very careful when hacking away at the plastic if this the route you decide to go! I did that and damaged the circuit board, causing the light to not light up after the bulb was replaced. I ended up ordering another off ebay since it was cheap enough, but it's definitely avoidable if you're slow and steady with the knife.

Absolutely! And I'm sure the bulb on the used switch I bought will burn out soon enough, so I won't make the same mistake again!
