New wheel
Decided to install my Eurosport rear disc brake kit and I added a couple grade 8 washers behind the stub axle for a little camber. Pondering putting some 1" rear blocks for a little more tuckage.
I need to make some brake lines for the rear still and install some prop valves and my 16v Rocco master cylinder! And see if the e-brake cables I have will work on my truck.
In the near future I'm going to make some hinges for my duckbill and make it so it swings up when u pull a lever. Since my new injection pump has an electric cold start valve I will install the lever where the only one was!

When life hands you bondo... Keep on grindin! Lol
I knew there was some bondo on the ds of my caddy but dang! A good 1/2 in of that stuff in places! Started pulling the last fender yesterday. Realized someone had replaced the rear 1/4 panel at some point. Some nasty spot welds made things a bit interesting.
I've never really researched people pulling fenders but... I decided to give it a go. First I pulled the inner lip out. Mostly with hammers dollies and pliers!
I then separated the inner fender from the outer and wedged a dollie in-between.
Hammered out the contour of the fender to fit the contour of my wheel/tire combo.
The inside I trimmed back a good 1" of inner fender. Then relief cut in 4 different spots about 8" apart. I then welded the inner fender to the outer, and welded the relief cuts shut. I will grind it all smooth and por15 it and undercoat!
The front lip I rolled under and hammered smooth. I sealed the two together with some black silicone and I will por15 the inside of those too!

A little update. Amongst the multiple projects I've got going I got the engine in and things a bit closer to running.
First of all I'm trying to build this as cheap as possible... For now.
Front suspension consists of chopped mk4 front springs and some decent Stock struts. Coils will come next spring.
Rear is axle flipped with corvette air shocks.
Might end up sitting a bit lower up front.
The carbed aba/JH.
The reinforced oil pan.
As for the exhaust I'm running the Original exhaust which is in great shape.
The down pipe I cut two up and made on longer one. Which turned out perfect!
