Some progress to report, been slow going between vacation, work and my little one. Thanks to Steve for letting me borrow his spring compressor tool I was able to get all of the BC springs/retainers installed. I actually got the hang of it on the last couple of springs, I still struggled with this install but at least it is done.

I got the FIC1100cc injectors all installed, just need to get the flex fuel sensor installed here.

Tonight I bolted in the intake cam and measured the valve clearances, all were in spec so no shims needed. I'll get the exhaust cam installed and checked soon.

I have a dyno appt on July 18th so I think I'm on track for getting everything buttoned up before then.

Well I got it all back together and it fired right up and runs with no issues so far. Idle is a bit rough and runs a bit rich but runs pretty well, I put all of the new parameters for the new FIC injectors in the ProEFI but I think the settings might not have been quite right for the Precision injectors I had in there before so that may be an additional cause of it running rich. All ready for my dyno appt, I will be bringing some E85 with me to get tuned on that as well.

Dave, the tool is something that I believe Steve made I that bolts to the had and has a leaver to push on the valve springs. Works well to push the springs down, but still a pain to get the keepers in there.

Got it on the dyno today, very impressed with the results. See my dyno results thread here:  http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...Flex-fuel-dyno

Its been awhile so time to provide an update. As I mentioned my clutch wouldn't hold anymore so I decided to go with a new LUK (OEM) flywheel and a SouthBend stage 3 endurance (TZ) clutch. I also got a set of TRD motor mounts and a TRD transmission mount. I decided I didn't have the time or desire to change my clutch on jack-stands again so I brought the Supra to Granite State Dyno and Tune and had them install these parts for me. This is the first time since I've owned it that I haven't done the work myself, but they did a great job and it was nice to not have to wrestle the tranny on my back. This clutch drives amazing. I can't believe how easy it is to drive, I've got about 150 miles on it so far and if it holds the power after break in I'll be super happy with it.

The other little project I did is I bought a 2.5lb H3R Halon fire extinguisher and I wanted to mount it in front of the passenger seat. I decided to fab up my own mount. I used some 1-1/4"x1/8" aluminum stock and made the following bracket painted black:

Here is is mounted:

And here it is with the extinguisher mounted. It sits low enough that the seat can still slide forward over it if I need to get into the backseat and the plastic seat rail covers still fit, it looks crocked in the picture but actually sets nicely:
