Well we did a bit of tuning today. Did a bit of street tuning to get the drive-ability down then went to the dyno. Only did 7 or so pulls until it started pissing oil Almost positive its the FMS. Luckily it wasn't a full blow out and was hardly leaking at low rpm so I was able to nurse it home.

It made 457rwhp/402rwtq at 16-17psi (on the wastegate spring) running pegged rich.

So hopefully a new FMS will take care of the issue and I'll get back on the dyno to turn it up a bit. Didn't take any pictures or video before the issue cut the day short. Next time for sure.

On the positive side the turbo install and ProEFI install both performed great, no issues were uncovered there. I'll be back up and running soon enough, and at least I can boost it a bit on the WG spring until I can get it back on the dyno.

Thanks to Alex (OVRBST) for the tuning skills.

I pulled the radiator crank pulley, timing belt, etc. and at first it didn't look like it was the FMS that was leaking as it was seated perfectly and the lip looked fine. I pulled the cam gears off and found that it wasn't the cam seals, so I decided to pull the FMS out as that was really the only place I could think that the oil could be coming from. When I pulled it I found the spring was popped off, so unless it popped off in the process of removing the seal that was my issue.

Just finished putting the new seal in, and I'll finish putting everything back on tomorrow morning and hope that this solves my issue.

Well everything is back together and I just got back from a quick test drive, no leaks Hopefully this seal holds up, if not I'll start to look into other options.

The car goes pretty good considering the low boost/timing and being pig rich. It sounds great and is not nearly as loud when the wastegate opens as I had expected.

Also the traction control on the ProEFI is working, I saw the trac light flickering on at the top of 1st, but it just a slight chirp and it kept pulling and I couldn't even tell it was on cool stuff.

I'm going to drive it as it sits for a week or so to make sure all is well, then get it back on the dyno to get it tuned up.
