Got the Exhaust mani done and all the exhaust studs replaced, only 1 stud came out with head threads so after the horror stories I've read I think I was pretty fortunate. Lower intake done and I put some wrinkle paint on the valve covers, I think they came out pretty good IIDSSM. I was thinking re-painting the tops of the ribs red but now I am leaning towards leaving them alone or scraping the paint off and polishing the tops. More Pics Soon
As promised pics, also put the turbo and valve covers back on I really like the wrinkle. I need a push on the valve covers....leave the tops of the ribs alone, paint them red or scrap off the paint to expose the alum and polish them. I'm torn. What do you guys think?

Well the day has finally come, I kinda been side tracked over the last month because I'm finally buying a house for me and the family so that has been top priority lately but the 7M is back where she belongs, all fluids filled, gone over the checklist about a thousand times in my head. I finally turn the key and nothing, the starter must have bad brushes and got worse sitting on the shelf, I put new copper contacts and plunger while it was out . Hit the key a few more times and starter turns and engine fired right up. Purring like a kitten, solid oil pressure, get it to temp, nothing leaking, out for a drive. Running very strong, feels fantastic, even got a semi when I heard the turbo spin again (been DD a NA for too long). I'm stoked, got a little stinkies from all the new paint and such getting to temp the first time but other than that things are great.
