So I may decide to change my build slightly. I got a call from Ryan Moore from Moore performance yesterday asking me if I would be interested in trying out a new product that they are thinking of introducing for customers that run speed density.

Basically, they have been looking at options to replace the subaru intake track (intake and turbo inlet) with a much smaller length of pipe. They have an ultra short filter setup that attaches directly on the front of the EVO turbos and receives air from the hood scoop. In theory it sounds pretty cool and I am thinking about trying it out.

With a little luck I am going to take a ton of picts tonight. I currently have the motor sitting in the car for test fitting reasons. There's no clutch in there and lots of other stuff missing so its coming back out soon. In the meantime I can at least see how things fit together.

Ok, so first up is my new Beatrush Bulkhead Division Plate. I just set it in place for this picture but you should be able to get the point. The idea here is that it will add a layer of fire protection between the passengers and the trunk. The plate isn't exactly designed as a fire barrier but it is metal were the seat is just foam. This should give me and any passengers in the back a few extra seconds in the event of a catastrophic fuel system failure.

As I said in post 176, I decided to set the motor in the engine bay to test fit a few things. I didn't put the clutch on so it took all of five seconds to do this.

I actually pulled the bracket that I made for the fuel block apart before I took the pict (stupid) but trust me, it fits perfectly. As you can see, the -10 line enters from the passenger side of the trans and hits that nice 45 degree hose adapter at the perfect angle. I am very pleased with how this turned out.

Everybody is so curious about how the turbo will sit in the engine bay. Here it is!

This header fits so amazingly well I cant believe it. I have a Mishimoto X-Line racing rad which is super thick and the Moore header fits with the STOCK fans!

There were also lots of questions regarding the header sticking down below the front subframe. Basically its at the exact same spot that my GT-Spec header was in terms of height. I also did a quick test fit of the under tray and it bolts right on without any issues.

The Killer B oilpan is exactly that, "kill". It just looks so nice in there:
