Finally got the steering column mounted for good! Borrowed @zebrabuilt seat to get it centered and at the correct height. Got the diff mount built and installed. After looking at other options, i was impressed so i built my own which i know is stout! Also finished the trans mount up with a couple dimpled gussets. Big step for me right here! Started getting the rear mount rad mounted. Make some plates on the cnc plasma and welded threaded bungs to the rad. Just need to figure out how to secure the top and also figure out a fan setup. Also welded the clutch pedal since the rx8 pedal is notorious for cracking. Hope this helps. Felt good to get some tig in. Got the upper rad mount done and welded in, changed out the worn out duff bushings for some @_whiteline poly, preped the bay and primered it and got the fuel cell cradle welded in. Was going to get the rear subframe in but the rain came and stopped that progress. Also got new hardware and gaskets for the ls6 intake. Looking really good man! I've always heard the RX8 is an excellent chassis, this will be nuts with the V8 in there! What are your plans for the RX7?
