Our car lovers, Vaishali from India (motorsport journalist) and her German husband Ronny (parallel parking champion) this time choose an infamous classic car in the vintage hotspot "Classic Remise" in Berlin. Both fall in love with the Peugeot 604, one of Erich Honecker's state cars. For 18 years he was at the head of the GDR, until shortly before the dissolution of the East German state.
The 604 was first delivered in March 1975. It already had four disc brakes. Ronny explains how to brake this old state car safely. An old diesel with outdated exhaust emissions. Today these limousines are a dying species, 40 years ago they were the big hit.
